What is IOCC
The aim of our Center is to create another possibility for implementing state-of-the-art standards in diagnostics and treatment of oncological patients from the Balkans’ and the Middle East countries. In the developed countries it is a very well known practice to provide second opinion from leading specialists for patients who, on their own accord or following the advice of their doctor, are referred for such consultations. By creating such a Center in Sofia the big expenses incurred and difficulties experienced by the patients when consulted abroad, will be relieved.
How to get a consultation and required documents
In case you decide to make a consultation with our experts you should call us on the phone - +359 2 943 22 24; +359 88 501 04 05 or come personally to get an appontment.
In order to facilitate the consulting process and provide sound basis for clinical decisions it would be of great help if you could provide in advance (at least 3 days before your appointment) the following documents:
1.Medical records and/or discharge summaries from hospital treatments
2. X- rays (chest, bone, etc.)
3.CAT or MRI
4.Ultrasound (when CAT is not available)
5.Fibrobronchoscopy, Gastroscopy, Fibrocolonoscopy
6.Pathological reports (histology and cytology)
7.ECG
8.Laboratory tests and Tumor markers
9.Opinions from previous consultations
